Kurt lived at Crabtree House on the campus of the Opportunity Center for the last

21/2 years of his life. Kurt was born to Robert A. Perdue and Shirley Kathleen Perdue. He had two older siblings Kelvin and Kay. He was born with Down syndrome. He was greatly loved and cherished by his family throughout his life. He attended school at the

Opportunity Center from age 5 until he graduated into the work program. Kurt was a very happy guy who brought much joy to family and friends. As he got older he loved to work and worked hard at any task given to him. Kurt was a loyal member of the Bible Methodist church of Ponca City where he attended with his family. He loved to sing and share his testimony of faith in God with anyone who would listen.

Kurt was involved with Special Olympics and loved to participate each year with his friends. He won many ribbons and medals and proudly showed them to all who were interested. He was a proud

Born February 24, 1968 Ponca City Hospital

Died January 28, 2022 Oklahoma State University fan and supporter of his dad’s alma mater. Kurt loved animals and enjoyed a variety of pets over the years. He grew up in the country on a farm with his family.

Kurt was preceded in death by his mother on July 7, 2021, both sets of grandparents, several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his father, Robert A. Perdue, brother, Kelvin R. Perdue and spouse, Roberta, his sister M.Kay Barr and spouse, Allen, six nieces, and 2 nephews.

A celebration of Life memorial service is to be held at Resthaven Memorial Park on April 23, 2022 at 11a.m.
