Brooks was born on April 22, 2014, to Nichole and Clay Mittasch in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He grew up in Morrison and attended Morrison Elementary School. Brooks loved everything outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and shooting guns, but not hunting animals, he loved all animals. He wanted to be many things when he grew up such as a farmer, truck driver that hauled overloads, a firefighter, a marine biologist, and an underwater welder to name a few. Brooks also enjoyed tinkering with just about anything and liked firetrucks and heavy equipment. He enjoyed driving the tractors and his truck. Brooks never knew a stranger, he could come up with random facts that Niki and Clay had to research to verify them, and he had a smile that would light up the room and an infectious laugh, a heart of gold, and he never gave up even though he really didn’t like sports, he was always encouraged his team. Brooks was a member of the Morrison Hot Shot Baseball team and the Morrison Youth Wrestling program.

Brooks is survived by his parents, Clay and Nichole Mittasch, and his twin brother, Austin. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins, Ryan Walters and wife Mallory, Sloan and Reese Waters; Stacy McKay and husband Bryan, Denver, Berkley, and Kamdyn McKay; as well as his grandparents, Judy and Rod Waters, Glenda and Dennis Mittasch and great grandmothers, JoAnne Waters and Cathy Schuster. Along with numerous family and friends and Brooks best friend Randy Grim.

Brooks is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mac and Ilene Mittasch, Glen and Ilomae Beck, Daryll Waters and Richard G. Schuster.
