Barbara Ellen Still of Ponca City, Oklahoma was called home by her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 87. A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at First Lutheran Church in Ponca City, with Pastor Joseph Highley officiating.

Barbara Ellen Buerger, the daughter of Lucille and Herman Buerger was born on May 27, 1935. On October 11, 1958, she married Jimmy W. Still and shared 58 years of marriage, until his passing in 2017. They had two children and lived in Fountain, Colorado for many years while Jimmy served his country with the United States Army, and Barbara working in the insurance industry for over 37 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Herman Buerger, brothers Dennis and Richard, sister Erlene; her husband, Jimmy Still; her children Michael and Jo Lynn.

She is survived by her brother in law, Wayne Penny; nephew Dennis Buerger and his wife Gail, Rocky Buerger and his wife Linda, nieces Kathy Bentley and her husband Randy, Erica Buerger, Tricia Buerger, Carolyn Penny, Terry Hance and husband Jerry, Angel and husband John, Andrea Bradley and husband David; great nephews Jerry Hance and wife Stephanie, Kyle Hance and girlfriend Jen; along with several great great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her “Colorado Family”, Pete and Vicki Daily, and their children.
