Ann (Childers) Thorpe, age 74, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away July 25, 2023 at Hillcrest Hospital South, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A celebration of her life will be held with family and friends at a later date.

Charlotte (Ann) was born on July 26, 1948 in West Virginia to Howard and Rhea (Gaskins) Childers. Charlotte grew up in Ponca City, OK. She retired as a clerk from Sullivan’s Trucking Company in 2013. Ann’s true joys in life were spending time with her family and long time friend Linda French. She enjoyed reading and gardening.

Survivors include: her daughter, Vickie Thorpe of the home; her brothers, Mark Childers and Paul Childers; daughter-in-law, Joannie Thorpe; grandchildren, Taylor, Tylar, and Levi; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by her son, Mark Thorpe; parents, Howard and Rhea Childers; and brothers, David and Bob Childers.
