July 2, 2023

Field Interview - At 12:11 am, a field interview was conducted at Grand and Oak with one subject in the roadway. An officer took Jordan Clark, 2002, into custody for public intoxication.

Field Interview - A field interview was conducted by an officer at 2:22 am with a subject in the roadway at 14th and Highland. Officer took Nicolas Blaser, 1989, into custody for resisting executive officer public intoxication, and not crossing in the cross walk. Subject was also taken into custody for Kay County warrants for DUI.

Accident - At 5:44 am, the reporting party advised of a silver Pontiac that was wrecked in their backyard at 709 McFadden. The keys were still in the vehicle. Officers #18 and #19 advised. Unable to reach the owners. The vehicle was towed by Warners.

Welfare Check - At 11:39 am, the reporting party requested a welfare check on a male subject standing near the roadway at 1917 N. 5th and was possibly touching himself inappropriately.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 12:39 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to his toolbox being stolen from the back of his black Chevy Silverado 1500 at Lowes. Vehicle was parked near the main entrance.

Reckless Driver - At 3:23 pm, the reporting party advised of a yellow Chevy speeding and doing donuts on the check stand at Lake Ponca. Subject was advised to knock it off. At 4:23 pm, the subject was going donuts again. The reporting party advised that is an officer did not handle it, they would. Officer #29 spoke to the subject and the problem half left.

Traffic Stop - At 7:03 pm, a traffic stop occurred at Stop N Go. The vehicle was released to the owner. Officer #48 took Allen Jontra, 09/1962, into custody.

Reckless Driver - At 8:21 pm, the reporting party advised of a gray Ford F-150 driving at an inconsistent speed and swerving. Vehicle was heading southbound from 14th and Coleman. An officer made contact and advised the driver did not seem to be impaired. They were told to fix their driving behavior.

Reckless Driver - At 11:58 pm, the reporting party advised of multiple vehicles doing donuts in the parking lot by the Lake Ponca playground. All the vehicles disbursed and an officer made contact with one half.

July 3, 2023 Man with Weapon - At 1:42 am, an officer advised of a male with a shotgun walking into a residence at 412 W. Hartford. Officer #48 took Ryan Allen, 07/2004, into custody for possession of a sawed-off shotgun, and removing or altering a firearm serial number.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 8:42 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to squatters at 412 S. Oak. Officer #55 advised that no one was inside the detached garage. Items the homeowner did not want there were collected.

Accident - At 2:22 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a two vehicle accident at 2205 N. 14th. Damage to both vehicles was minor.

Disturbance - At 6:22 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to juveniles that were throwing rocks at a residence in the area of 1936 Jane. Subjects stopped throwing rocks and were riding bikes near the park. Another reporting party advised they were also throwing stones at another location on Jane. An extra patrol was given.

Fireworks - At 6:43 pm, the reporting party requested an officer to check the area of Hartford and John in reference to subjects that have a PVC pipe with fireworks going off in it. Officer made contact and they advised they will stop.

Reckless Driver - At 7:28 pm, a white GMC truck ran the reporting party off the roadway at Hartford and Kygar. Officer #31 and #49 pursued the vehicle and stopped at South Street between Gate and Home. Budget took possession of the vehicle. Officer #49 took Nathan Seals, 01/2002, into custody for endangering others while eluding a police officer, reckless driving, and no valid driver’s license.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 8:10 pm, an employee at Tractor Supply requested an officer in reference to three subjects that were shoplifting. Subjects got into a silver Buick Enclave with the tag MMW067. Last seen westbound on Prospect. Two males and one female. One of the males had tattoos all over his neck.
