March 24, 2023 Field Interview - An officer conducted a field interview with a juvenile in the 1000 block of N. Pine at 1:25 am. Juvenile was transported to the station and then released to a parent.

Field Interview - A field interview occurred at 6:45 am at the parking lot at 2809 N. 14th. Officer #28 took Johnathan Nelson, 08/1984, into custody for Kay County warrants for throwing an object at a moving vehicle, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and resisting an executive officer.

Reckless Driver - At 9:27 am, solid waste advised of a red Honda, two-door, going 70 mph down Union. Vehicle was last seen eastbound on Prospect. Tag number was KLX167.

Accident - At 12:20 pm, a one vehicle accident occurred at Ash and Liberty.

Accident - At 12:40 pm, Warners advised of a white Mustang GT that was involved in an accident at the spillway at Lake Ponca. There was property damage.

Reckless Driver - At 2:03 pm, the reporting party advised of a male causing a disturbance at 4th and South. Subject left eastbound in a white newer model GMC truck at about 80+ mph. Subject was issued a no trespassing to the Stop and Go.

Welfare Check - At 3:04 pm, the reporting party requested a welfare check on a female subject wearing a red shirt and red bandana in the 700 block of N. 2nd and screaming. Officer #45 took Joycee Newrider, into custody for public intoxication, larceny of merchandise, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, no insurance, public intoxication x2, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and resisting executive officer.

Fight in Progress - At 3:42 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a large group of juveniles possibly physically fighting behind Liberty Elementary School. Unknown weapons. All were wearing black shirts and blue jeans. The reporting party advised of three kids leaving southbound, others were going toward the woods.

Man with Weapon - At 7:04 pm, the reporting party advised there was a male wearing a black and red hoodie with black pants at Central and Lake. Subject had a firearm in his waistband, but has not threatened anyone with it. Last seen walking northbound.

Stolen Vehicle - At 9:13 pm, subjects were checking vehicle handles at 2033 N. Osage, one was in a jacket and hoodie with gray sweats. Last seen eastbound. Officer made contact at 2037 N. Osage who reported a stolen silver 2006 GMC Envoy with House FM stickers on the back window. Officer searched the area for the vehicle, it was gone on arrival. A report was taken and the vehicle was entered into NCIC and a BOLO (be on the lookout) alert was sent.

Extra Patrol - An employee at Holiday Inn Express requested an extra patrol in reference to a male subject that drives a dark green Dodge Journey with OK tag MMV170 that has been checking vehicles in the parking lot recently.
