Tim Henson will portray Sheriff Harsh, Kay County Sheriff, who investigated the petrified man that was found in Newkirk during the 1940’s. Charlie’s Tellers will once again appear during Charlie Adams Day on September 10 in front of the Newkirk Public Library. Tim is one of our premier tellers and is a member of the Newkirk Main Street Mavericks.

This free event is made possible through an Oklahoma Humanities Grant. The Newkirk Community Historical Society hosts this event each year. There will be six tellers and the Kaw Language students. This event takes place from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. and is free of charge.
