HABITAT RESTORE MOVING SALE The Habitat ReStore, located at 117 W Central, is having a moving sale as they prepare for their move into their new location.

Right now, there is 50% off everything except Greensheen paint. The store will be moving in the next few weeks and they want to get rid of as much merchandise as possible so they don’t have to move it.

Ponca Habitat is a broad-based Christian organization that has built over 30 homes for families in Ponca. Each family must help build the home with Habitat volunteers and then they must pay for the cost of the home with an interest free mortgage. Costs are held down because of volunteer labor and the no-interest mortgage.

The Restore has been very helpful in providing funds to build these homes. In fact, Habitat ReStore operates on local donations of building materials and furniture so it provides a place for unused items and therefore keeps material out of the city dump while helping others remodel their homes. It has been serving a very good community service for Ponca in a number of ways.

The store hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 9 am until 2 pm.
