LAURA STACK (pictured) is the founder and CEO of Johnny’s Ambassadors. Johnny’s Ambassadors is a non-partisan, non-profit, grassroots organization that works to educate parents and teens about the dangers of high-THC marijuana on adolescent brain development, mental illness, and suicide. Community Health Foundation of Kay County held an event on Monday, Nov. 6 at Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) featuring speaker Laura Stack, founder and CEO of Johnny’s Ambassadors. On Nov. 20, 2019, Stack’s son Johnny died by suicide after becoming psychotic from dabbing high-THC marijuana concentrates.
