The Doodle Academy will be hosting a closing reception for the art show featuring the works of Jannie Ross from 5 pm to 6 pm on Friday, June 16.

Ross is an avid flower gardener and incorporates the beauty of flowers in her work. For several decades, Ross wanted to preserve her flowers and save them, to do so, she began to paint the flowers on canvas. Her paintings have won several top awards from the Ponca City Art Center and the Blackwell Fair.

The Doodle Academy hosts several art shows throughout the year. These galleries showcase the works of several artists in, around, and outside of the community.
