On September 1 Dr. Rachel Shuey became the new owner of Tonkawa Vet Clinic.

Dr. Shuey has been associate veterinarian with the clinic since May of 2021.

She is a graduate of Westmoore High School, Moore Ok. She attended the University of Missouri and received her Bachelor of Science in animal science, Masters of Public Health and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

She is a mixed animal vet and works with small animals (cats, dogs and an occasional gerbil) and large animals (cows, pigs, sheep and goats). She performs well checks and vaccinations as well as surgeries including spays, neuters, castrations, C-sections, tumor removal, some eye surgeries and some orthopedic surgeries. She has worked with animals that have been diagnosed with long term illness such as diabetes and cancer.

Dr. Shuey has hired new staff that is happy to answer your questions and help with your precious family members.

Dr. Shuey invites you to join her for the ribbon cutting grand reopening open house on Friday November 4 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
