May 17—With four innings to play Oklahoma held a 6-0 lead and appeared poised to close out the regular season riding a nine-game winning streak. Three innings and 10 Cincinnati runs later, the Sooners were facing a fourrun deficit with three outs remaining.

DENVER — Anthony Edwards overcame a slow start and the Timberwolves roared back from a 20-point second-half deficit to eliminate the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets 98-90 in a Game 7 Minnesota masterpiece on Sunday night.

As the Timberwolves were hurrying out of the visiting locker room in Denver following their Game 5 loss, Anthony Edwards wasn’t too upset and was in a talkative mood. He chatted a bit with teammates and some media members even after the cameras turned off.
