Friendship Feast of Ponca City announces Golf Fore Grub Benefit Tournament

This year the Friendship Feast Board is excited to announce their 1st Annual GOLF FORE GRUB Benefit Tournament coming on Saturday, May 18th at the Wentz Golf Course. Driving for a Difference on the golf course can help us continue to provide FREE HOT MEALS that benefits so many families in our community. Friendship Feast is the longest running free meal program in the history of Ponca City, operating for 34 years.

There are millions of caregivers in the United States and they all have common needs; recognition, counseling, support, information, problem sharing and, in many cases, peer socializing. One of the proven ways that many of these needs can be met is by attending a Caregiver Support Group. Caregivers are one of American’s most valuable assets, but often their needs are lost in the care recipients’ problems. Therefore, having a place where caregivers can be themselves, share experiences and insights and have the positive input of their peers is critical.

Wheeler Dealers hold first 2024 campout in March

PONCA CITY, OK – Spring has sprung…time for camping season for the Wheeler Dealers Camping Club. March is the time for the first campout and this year hosts Lowry and Rebecca Blakeburn and Chris and Ann Foster chose Pawnee Lake. Club members have camped there in the past, but each time the group has different activities. This year club members had the entire campground to themselves.
