JENKS -- Jenks was the team that ended Ponca City’s season a year ago in the Class 6A Regional Tournament and since that time the Lady Cats have been focusing on avenging that loss when the opportunity presented itself.

MUSKOGEE -- The Ponca City softball Lady Cats opened district play Tuesday with a doubleheader sweep over the Muskogee Rougherettes. After trailing in the opener, the Lady Cats came back to win 8-5.
