Northern Oklahoma College women’s soccer collected their 4th shutout in a row and 8th in 11 games in their 5-0 win over Murray State on Wednesday.

The #19 Mavs (8-2-1) are 6-1-1 in conference. The Mavs are second in the conference race behind #3 Seminole State College.

NOC had two goals from Josie Jarvis and one each from Celeste Maldonado, Jazmine Furra, and Sam Mendez.

NOC controlled action from the start dominating the Aggies in the 5-0 win.

“I thought both teams played well,” said coach Michael DuRoy. “Murray State is one of the few teams that will actually try to push some numbers forward against us. We love it because it opens the game up. They have some good athletes that can run with our wingers and outside backs, but our midfield was dominant today.”

Northern will be back at home Sunday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. hosting Eastern Oklahoma State.
