GLENPOOL -- The Ponca City Lady Cats never got on track Monday night as they dropped a 10-0 softball decision to Glenpool.

The first inning was scoreless, but the Glenpool scored two runs in the second inning, three runs in the third and five in the fourth.

Glenpool outhit the Lady Cats seven to two. Ponca City committed three errors on the night while Glenpool had one miscue.

Libby Clark got a single in the first inning for Ponca City. That was the only hit for the Lady Cats until Madelyn Blackstar picked up a single later in the game.

Libby Clark started in the circle for Ponca City. In three complete innings, she allowed six hits and seven earned runs while walking four and striking out none. Savannah Clark was called upon to pitch in the fourth. She gave up one run on one hit.

The Lady Cats’ record is now 10-24 for the season. A game against Putnam City was on the schedule for Tuesday night. Ponca City is scheduled to come back with a game against Cleveland Thursday night at the West Middle School softball field.
