STILLWATER -- The Ponca City Lady Cat soccer team went scoreless in two matches Thursday in the Stillwater Cup competition.

In the opener, host Stillwater broke open a scoreless match in the second half to win 3-0.

Later Thursday, Ponca City trailed Verdigris 2-0 at the half, but held its opponents scoreless in the second half in a 2-0 defeat.

The Stillwater Cup ends Friday for the girls competition. Ponca City boys were scheduled to play Cache Friday in the first round of the boys tournament, which concludes on Saturday.
