Margaret Blackstar of Ponca City has been named to the Class 6A District 3 All-District softball team.

The All-District team was chosen by a vote of district coaches. Ponca City seniors Tori Freeman and Libby Clark were included on the district’s honorable mention team.

Blackstar is a junior who played primarily in the outfield for Coach Daniel Wood’s Lady Cat team. She posted a .429 batting average which included six doubles and nine triples. She finished the year with 21 runs batted in. She was named to the team as an utility player.
