Lynsey Ailey hit three home runs Thursday, leading the Northern Oklahoma College Mavericks to a sweep of Western.

The Mavs (20-12) won the first game 13-3 and the nightcap 11-7.

NOC improved to 11-7 in conference games.

In Game 1, Ailey hit a grand slam and a solo shot and Meagan Bellar also homered in a 12-run fourth inning as the Mavs routed the Pioneers 13-3.

Ailey had five runs batted in while Bellar, Hallie Durkee and Morgan Fowble added two hits each for the Mavs.

Ailey allowed two earned runs on four hits in five innings of work to earn the win.

In Game 2, the Mavs scored seven runs in the second inning en route to an 11-7 win.

Ailey hit her third home run of the day, a three run shot in the seven run uprising. Ailey has 10 home runs on the season.

Fowble had three hits for the Mavs including a double and two runs scored.

Durkee and Karsyn Coleman also added runs batted in for NOC.

Shay Cushenbery worked 5.1 innings in relief of Molly Myers. Ailey closed out the final 1.1 innings striking out two.
