ADA, Oklahoma -- Third ranked Seminole State blasted #9 Northern 6-0 in Ada on Thursday.

NOC is now 11-2 on the year and 9-2 in Region 2. Both Seminole and Rose State are 10-2.

The Trojans scored three goals in the first half and three goals in the second half.

“Credit goes to Seminole,” said coach Michael DuRoy. “They outplayed us in every phase of the game. I think we came in a little overconfident. We haven’t been tested since the Rose game, and we kind of forgot what it is like to have to fight for a win. It’s one game though, so we will move on and get ready for a really good Rose State team on Sunday. It will be our seventh straight road game. The schedule has been tough from that aspect. We are tired of being on the road. I’m confident that we will be ready for the game. Seminole, Rose, and us are all tied at the top of the conference with two losses. We can still win the conference, so there is a lot to play for.”

NOC travels to Rose for a key match-up Sunday at 1 p.m. in Midwest City.
