Suspicious Person/Arrest— An officer responded to the 100 block of south Ash on Thursday at 1:37 a.m. in reference to a suspicious individual on a bicycle. The individual did end up getting arrested and was transported to jail. A report was taken.

Wandering Child— An officer was requested to the intersection of 2nd and Highland on Thursday at 3:00 a.m. in regards to a young three year old male who was walking in the street alone. The child was taken into protective custody and DHS took over. The foster child’s parents were located on the 700 block of north 1st and a warrant request was taken. A report was made.

Vandalism— On Thursday at 6:07 a.m. an officer was requested to Lincoln Elementary on the 1500 block of west Grand in reference to a rock that had been thrown through the window of a classroom overnight. An officer responded and a report was taken.

Theft— An officer responded to the 200 block of Virginia Ave. on Thursday at 9:27 a.m. in regards to the caller’s neighbor stealing her political signs out of her yard. A report was taken.

Burglary— An officer was requested to the 100 block of south Elm on Thursday at 6:09 p.m. in reference to the caller finding broken windows when they had returned home. An officer responded, cleared the house and a report was taken.

Hit and Run Accident— An officer responded to the intersection of 14th and Highland on Thursday at 8:11 p.m. in reference to a hit and run accident that had occurred involving a maroon four door Sedan. The vehicle headed eastbound on Lake Rd. and then wrecked at the bend of Pecan and continued into Osage County. Osage Deputies took over and were in pursuit. A report was taken.
