January 24, 1964 December 1st, 2022 Wanda Paulette Doolittle, 58, of Ponca City Oklahoma, passed peacefully at Ponca City Hospital on Thursday, December 1, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Jonny Shepherd and Beatrice Endriss, her brother Jonny Lee Shepherd, her husband Paul Doolittle, and a daughter Kimberly Doolittle.

Joe Clellan Smock, age 82, passed away December 13th, 2022 in Ponca City, OK from intestinal complications. Joe was born July 17, 1940 in a small farmhouse in Cedar Vale, KS and graduated from Cedar Vale High School in 1958.

A Celebration of Life services for Johnita Kay Wolf, 77, will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2022, at Oakridge Baptist Church in Denison, Texas with Justin Wolf officiating. Kay was born August 20, 1945 in Borger, Tx to John and Grace(Dougherty) Fesler.

Leila Oestmann, 92, beloved Mother, and Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on December 13, 2022. She entered this world on August 22, 1930, in Avery, OK, born to George H. and Viola Grother Wolff.

Scotty (Scott) Dale Choate passed away Wednesday, December 7th, at his home in Ponca City, Oklahoma at 58 years old. Scott was born July 10th, 1964 in Muskogee, to Lee Choate and Berta Cafferty.

Perry Gene Estes, 59, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. Perry was born in Ponca City, OK on July 17, 1963. He was the son of Norma Jean Buffalohead Estes and Bobby Gene Estes. Perry was a proud Ponca native who was soft spoken and tender hearted. He gently teased and had a sweet smile. Perry was a born again son of God who loved God, his family and life, even through the difficult times. He didn’t have all the answers to life’s problems, but had a determination to provide a stable home for his family and endure major health challenges along the way. He was an inspiration to all those who loved him. Perry was also a die hard Raiders fan and loved the Oklahoma Sooners.

David Leroy Lamb, age 78, passed away with his son in a small plane crash, Monday, December 5, 2022. He was born January 7, 1944 in Ponca City, OK to Hosea and Archie (Haskins) Lamb. He graduated from Ponca City High School and attended Oklahoma Tech School for aircraft mechanics. He later served in the United States Air Force then worked for United Airlines as a mechanic. He married the love of his life, Betty McCullough on November 11, 1966 and they shared one son, Christopher Lamb. The family relocated to Oklahoma where he went to work for The Oklahoman newspaper. David retired from Mustang public schools where he was maintenance supervisor over all the districts kitchens. He loved to travel, fly, and help others. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Anna Mae Paisley and husband Neal and niece Cara Eaton. David is survived by his brother Joe Lamb and wife Minnie and nieces, June Solomon and husband Kurt, Melanie Lamb and Debra Lamb. A Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
