Ann F. Carlson

On Wednesday March 9, 2022, Ann F. Carlson passed away peacefully in Collierville, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald J. Carlson Sr, sister Beth Finan, brother John Finan, grandson Brennan Tucker, and parents John (Reid) Finan and Margaret (Margie) Ann Finan. She is survived by her son Ronald (Jay) Carlson, Jr. (Jennifer) of Collierville, TN, son Robert (Rob) Carlson (Brett) of Tulsa, OK , 4 grandchildren (Justin, McKenzie, Joseph and Jack), 4 great grandchildren, her prized beagle Sophie and Dash her cat. She is also survived by her sister Kay Van Etten of Little Rock, AR, her brother Patrick Finan, and many extended family members. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Collierville Animal Shelter or cause of your choice.

Don Austin, age 92, passed from this life to the presence of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 30, 2022. Don graduated from Ponca City High School in 1948. He married his High School sweetheart Mary Beth Leathers in 1949 and they were happily married 72 years until his death. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Beth, 2 sons David and Clyde and their wives; five grandchildren, six great - grandchildren; a sister Dorothy; several nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.

Elsie May (Reusser) Campbell died unexpectedly the afternoon of Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She had recently had successful back surgery and was home recovering when she lay down for an afternoon nap and suffered a heart attack caused by a blood clot.

Richard Lee Terrel, 67, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 9am to 8pm with family greeting guests from 6-8pm. Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 1:00pm at Grace Hill Cemetery with Pastor Brett Nation officiating. Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry is entrusted with arrangements.

Eleanor Rose Ciskowski, age 89, a former long-time resident of Ponca City, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in Marietta, Georgia. Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at Trout Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 6 from 1:00-8:00 pm with family present from 2:00-4:00 pm. A Rosary Ceremony will be held on Wednesday evening, April 6, 2022, at 6:00 pm at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Eleanor at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father Carson Krittenbrink officiating. Margaret Charlene Martin passed away March 31 in Broken Arrow. She was born February 25th 1937 in Fairfax to Charles and Kathryn Johnson. Charlene was a 1955 graduate of Ponca City high school and a 1960 graduate of Oklahoma State University where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

Billy Ray Gibson

Billy Ray Gibson was born on December 12, 1947, in Covington, Oklahoma, in a little stone house that was to be his home for the next 18 years. He was the third son of John L. and Myrtle Ann (Wood) Gibson. He left this earth on March 26, 2022, after a three-year battle with lung cancer. He left, as he lived, with a smile surrounded by the family he loved, to be welcomed into his heavenly home by his precious Jesus and the friends and family who had gone on before.

He graduated from Ponca City High School, representing Po-Hi as a Boys State Representative. he joined the Marines in the spring of ’75, and proudly served wit the USMC.
