Joshua Ray Swartzell, 20, of Ponca City, formerly of Arkansas City passed away from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident April 29th. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, 2448 Edgemont Drive, Arkansas City, KS. Reverend Stephanie Wall-Brown will officiate. Cremation will take place after the service. Friends may greet the family 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory. For those who would like to ride in Josh’s honor there will be an organized ride from the church to the funeral home after the service.

Johnnie Melvin Parnell, resident of Ponca City, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday evening, April 28, 2022. He was 88 years of age.

Fred Ownbey, of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the age of 93. He was born on Thursday, October 11, 1928 at the family homestead in Harper County, Oklahoma to Alfred Ray and Laura Clara (Hinther) Ownbey.

Kelly Sue (Daugherty) Kirby, 58, passed away and went to be with our Lord on April 29, 2022. Kelly was born March 30, 1964, in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia to Raymond and Betty (Lamm) Daugherty. Her family moved back to the states in the first few years of her life where she was then raised in Ponca City OK. She attended school at Ponca City High School, then moved to Northern Oklahoma College where she graduated with her associate degree.

Patricia Ann Dulinsky Tarpenning Hand, who was called Pat, Nana, Grandma, and Mom by her family and friends, departed her loving family on April 30, 2022, after a lengthy illness. Pat was born in Stafford, Kansas on January 10, 1938.
