Joyce Eileen (Baker) Currier, age 80, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, in Tulsa, OK. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Lamont Cemetery in Lamont, OK, with Pastor Lynn Schuyler officiating.

Jonece (Jonie) Jayne Paynter, age 92, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed way Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Ponca City Nursing and Rehab Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Ponca City Odd Fellows Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Reverend Joseph Highley of the First Lutheran Church. Known by the family as “Nina,” Carol Suzanne Nichols left her earthly home at the age of 74. She passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2024, at 11:59 pm at OU Medical Center. Carol was born in Enid on October 30, 1949 and was a longtime Ponca City resident and spent her days enjoying life with friends and family, and would often be spotted enjoying a grandchild’s sporting event. Carol also worked part-time at Ponca City’s Taco Stop and was a friendly face to the entire community. She went to heaven peacefully with family at her bedside. She is preceded in death by her parents Wayne Ingmire & Mary (Simrod) Ingmire and her longtime best friend, Carmelita Westbrook. She is survived by her dear husband of 32 years, Jerry Nichols; siblings: Steve Ingmire, Cathy Ingmire, Scott Ingmire & wife Theresa, Kevin Ingmire, Shelly & husband David Dickover, Sherry & husband Donny Heimbach, and bonus sibling Lynette and Mark Gregory, and numerous nieces and nephews that were all cherished by Carol. Andrew Silas Lieb, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on January 21, 1940, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Henry and Josephine Lieb, Andrew lived a life full of love and adventure.

Billy Joe Hall’s earthly body died peacefully at the age of 94 on January 31, 2024, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Born on August 4, 1929, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Everett Glen Hall and Willie Harman Hall.

Vester Joe Spore, 80, beloved husband, father, and papa, was called to meet Jesus in heaven on January 31, 2024. He was born on June 26, 1943, in Wichita, Kansas, to Vester and Veva Joe DeBard Spore.

Linda Preston-Jones, 82, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on January 29, 2024. She entered this world on October 24, 1941, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, born to Paul Andrew Komma and Cleo Belle Coates Komma.
