Teresa Anne Riedinger, 59, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and teacher left this world and entered God’s Kingdom on January 10, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Helmut Riedinger, Andover, KS; her son, Benjamin Clark, Wilmington, NC; her step-sons, Helmut Riedinger, Rosenberg, TX and Derek Riedinger, Ponca City, OK; her parents, Alven and Rosanne Nunley, Muskogee OK; and her sisters, Sandra Reynolds, Starkville, MS and Kim Summers, Ballwin, MO.

Born and raised in Muskogee, OK, Teresa graduated from the Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. After college, she chose to become a teacher; her true calling. She taught high school sciences - Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy/Philology, and Medical Technology for 35 years, the last 18 years at El Dorado High School. In 2013, she earned her Masters Degree in Curriculum Education from Wichita State.

Even with the many physical challenges she endured in life, Teresa’s spirit always showed. She was a kind, gentle, and caring woman, who encouraged, supported and mentored her children, students, colleagues, and friends, always striving to be a positive influence in their lives. Her spirit will be missed by many. A private Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 18, at 3 pm, for the family at Broadway Mortuary.
