Phillip Earl Bare was born on July 13, 1956 to Earl Leo and Phyllis Gwendolyn (Goble) Bare in Blackwell, OK and passed from this life on May 11, 2020 in Ada, OK.

He was raised and educated in Blackwell where he graduated from Blackwell High School in 1974. He enlisted in the United Stataes Army in 1974 in Ft. Sill and honorably served his country until being honorably discharged in 1976. On August 2008 he married Sandra (Smith) in Missouri. From there he lived in Stuart, OK and then Ponca City with his sister. He was a drummer in several rock and roll bands, and played football and baseball in High School. Phillip loved anything outdoors. Absolutely loved to hunt and fish.

Phillip worked for Kay Office Equipment in Ponca City and then he and a friend, Stan Bagby, ran another copier business in Edmond OK. Later in years he move to Joplin, MO and worked for 4 States Trucking and then retiring in Stuart, OK.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Sandra Bare, son Dennis Bare and wife Jessica of Pinehurst, TX, daughter Trisha (Bare) Mackey of Tulsa, OK, brother Warren Bare and wife Judy of Ponca City, OK, sister Teresa (Bare) Koenig and Danny Shields of Ponca City, OK, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Anita Looper, nephew Thomas E Looper, grandparents and aunts and uncles.

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Phillips Earl Bare, 63, of Stuart OK will be held privately at a later date.
