Naoma Lou “Buzzi” Ball passed away on May 29, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 94. Born in Newkirk, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Ray O. and Ruby Baird of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

She married Marion L. “Pat” Ball of Ponca City on June 1st, 1947. Buzzi and Pat made a home in Houston, Texas and raised their four children in the Maplewood neighborhood in southwest Houston. She was employed at Conoco (Continental Oil Company) for ten years. She was an active member of Bering Drive Church of Christ.

In retirement, Buzzi and Pat lived in Georgetown, Texas where she pursued formal music studies at Southwestern University. They were longtime members of the Wellspring Church in Georgetown where Buzzi served as piano accompanist for their choir and worship services. She was passionate about performing classical music, offering recitals, teaching piano, and mentoring young students. She recorded several CDs showcasing classical piano and hymns. She treasured playing her grand piano for her family at home. She also valued her memberships in Georgetown Music Study Club, P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization), Bible study/prayer groups, and community outreach programs.

Buzzi will be remembered as a loving wife of 66 years, an attentive and selfless mother, a doting grandmother and great grandmother. Her friends and family cherish their memories of her lively spirit and goodness.

Buzzi was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Baird, and her husband, Pat.

She is survived by brothers Larry (Irene) and Gary (Joan) Baird; her sister-in-law Nadina Oney; her children Nancy (Tim) Delpha, Becky (Charles) Peterson, Russell (Susan) Ball, and Cathey (Charles) Busch. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Joe (Jamie) Delpha, Tom Delpha, Tyler Delpha, Natalie Delpha, Matthew (Mallory) Peterson, Michael (Lindsay) Peterson, Jennifer (Kyle) Wadlington, and Gabriel Busch. Her great grandchildren are Brady and Hannah Delpha and Marshall Wadlington. She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 12, 2021, at 2pm, Smith & Kernke, 14624 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73134.
