Naarah “Lee” Clark, age 66, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Oklahoma City.

A celebration of Lee’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 29, 2020 in the Chapel at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tom Howard officiating. The ceremony will be streamed live at www.troutfuneralhome.com

Lee was born on December 13, 1953 in Ada, OK to Joe H. and June (Little) Marsh. Her family later moved to Oklahoma City where she graduated from US Grant High School in 1972. After high school, Lee attended El Reno Junior College where she took accounting and business courses. After college, Lee married Michael Clark. They had two children while living in Mustang, OK where Lee worked for the City of Mustang as a purchasing officer. Her work was meticulous and organized resulting in being awarded the city employee of the year in 1983. In 1988, Lee moved to Ponca City where she served as the city treasurer for three years before working for Parker Pest Control as their accountant. She also did some contract accounting work for the Pest Machine of L.A. near the end of her time with Parker Pest Control. While in Ponca City, Lee met and married Jim Waller who she adored until his passing. Lee was a woman who enjoyed the adventure of being in the outdoors, seeing new things and experiencing the world around her. Traveling across the country and the world gave her great insight into the beauty and history of the places she traveled. Often, Lee would have her camera nearby to capture the wonder of the moments. The mountains of Colorado would draw her in to hike and take in the vistas. Germany was a trip she spoke fondly of, but Hawaii held her heart. Even recently, Lee was working things out so she could move to Hawaii for retirement. As well, anyone who knew Lee, knew she was fond of all things in the hue of Purple. Throughout her life, Lee was an animal person; specifically Labrador Retrievers. She had a number of labs. Lee was a skilled trainer and was able to achieve great behavior from her dogs.

Survivors include her daughter Laura Lee of Oklahoma City, son David Michael Clark and wife Chrystal of Dibble, OK, brothers: Berney Marsh and wife Rebecca, Steve Marsh, both of Ponca City, Bob Senn and wife Barbara of Bartlesville, OK, Ronnie Senn of Oklahoma City; grandchildren: Caleb Thompson and Sayla Thompson both of Oklahoma City.

Lee was preceded in death by her parents, June and Joe Marsh, as well as her step-mother Betty Marsh and step sister Kathy Senn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ponca City Humane Society, 900 West Prospect, Ponca City, OK 74601. Please leave a message of condolence, expression of sympathy or perhaps share a memory of Lee at www.troutfuneralhome.com
