Mavis N. Burton, Ponca City resident and wife of Tommy Burton, died May 19, 2020 in St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was 86.

The daughter of Allen Kenneth Freek and Irene Katherine (Sutherland) Freek, Mavis was born May 24, 1933 in Newkirk. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 15 in the First Presbyterian Church of Newkirk with the Rev. Mark Southard officiating. Miller-Stahl Funeral
