Margaret Nancy Ebright Grace McGee was born Nov. 6, 1941, in Blackwell where she spent most of her life. She passed away on July 4, 2020, when the Lord Jesus called her home after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at the Blackwell cemetery chapel on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 11 a.m. Nancy was the daughter of Gerald and Clara Ebright of Blackwell. She married Owen Edward Grace in June 1955. They had three boys: Troy, Tommy and Gerald and four girls: Elaine, Cindy, Della and Gerald.

After the death of Owen Grace, she was remarried to Carr McGee.

Nancy chose to keep herself close to Christ throughout her life. Participating in church activities, driving the church bus, teaching Sunday school. Christ’s love could be seen shining from Nancy in everything she did. She had an abundance of love and understanding for people. Her character was filled with kindness, honesty, forgiveness and a certain firmness when it was required.

During her life, she was very outgoing, loved socializing and waltz dancing. She attended local waltz dance functions very often, where it was known to be difficult for other women to keep their dance partners away from Nancy.

Nancy’s unique charisma and sweet personality made her very enjoyable to be in the company of. Especially at the local social functions where her genuine love shined so bright, everyone wanted to be near her it seemed. Nancy was slow to anger and quick to forgive. Her deep compassion and magnetism remained strong, even into the day of her passing, as she was surrounded by those who loved and adored her.

Nancy had loved so many people and many loved her. Our world is a little dimmer now that she has left us. She will be deeply missed. Grief and sorrow many feel because of her absence, but also joyfulness is felt among those who knew her heart, for she is in heaven with Jesus and the Father, reunited with loved ones who’ve been waiting for her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Nathan, first husband Owen, son Tommy, one grandchild and second husband Carr McGee.

She is survived by seven children, 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
