Linda Rose (Scott) Haun, 77, was born March 21, 1942 and passed away at noon on Feb. 23, 2020.

She was the second of three children born to Lee and Lois Scott. She was married in 1958 and from this marriage two sons were born, Rodger and Rocky. She married Gene Haun in 1966 and they were happily married until his death in 2016.

She worked at Dr. Ray Lessert, Monsour’s Grocery, Humpty Grocery, JC Penney and later traveled with Gene around the USA inspecting turbines at power plants. Her favorite job was selling Tupperware, she became a top seller in Oklahoma and won many prizes and awards. She loved Tupperware as she was a people person and could talk to a wall if it would listen and it gave her an excuse to make friends with everyone.

When health made her retire they moved to the Tahlequah area until both their health failed and they returned to Ponca City.

She is survived by her two sons, Roger Haun and wife Debi and Rocky Pameticky of Ponca City, her grandchildren Rowdy Pameticky and wife Cinae of Mississippi, Brooke McIntire of Broken Arrow and Alicia Pameticky of Ponca City, three great-grandsons Hunter, Ryder and Carson and a greatgranddaughter Ember and a great-granddaughter, Jaelynn Rose, to be born in July, sister Sandy Hetherington and an uncle Floyd Robins, four nieces Cheryl Romine, Robin Farmer, Nicole Proctor and Dawn Rohrs and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Lois Scott, husband Gene, brother Bobby Scott, grandson-in-law Stephen McIntire, brother-in-law Marvin Hetherington and two stepsons.

She requested to be cremated and will be placed at Long-wood Cemetery next to Gene.

A memorial service will be held on Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Osage Heights Baptist Church. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview, Ponca City, OK.
