Dorothy Jannell (Jan) Sensintaffar, 75, of Broken Arrow, OK, went to be with our lord and savior on July 29, 2022.

Jan was born October 21, 1946, in Ponca City, Ok to Ray and Ruby (Fancher) Madderra.

She graduated from Ponca City High School in 1964 and continued her education at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, where she was a member of the Roustabouts.

She had many fond memories of the work she did and the friends she made over the 24 years at Conoco/CSC.

Jan enjoyed music, dancing and playing games with family and friends. When she was younger, Jan loved water skiing, riding dune buggies, and horses. She also enjoyed Sonic Dr. Pepper, Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream, steak dinners, going to the movies (but not on Sunday), and a good romance novel.

She is survived by her children, Brandon Sensintaffar and Alicia Wilson (Sensintaffar), both of Broken Arrow, and their spouses; stepdaughter, Chevai Bechtel of Maize, Kansas; sisters Billie Elkins of Manteca, California, Delores Watson or Arkansas City, KS,and Nancy Barnes of Sun City Center, Florida; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ruby Madderra; brothers Galen Madderra and Johnny Madderra; and sisters Betty (Madderra) Halligan, Sue (Madderra) Dent, Linda (Madderra) Moncrief, and Glenna (Madderra) Avey.

A memorial service will be held at Longwood Cemetery on August 15, 2022 at 10am.
