Cathi Lynne Pickering Weaver, age 58, Ponca City resident, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Tulsa.

A celebration of Cathi’s life will be held at noon on Sunday, July, 26, 2020 at the lodge at Camp McFadden, 9137 East Hartford Ave., Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Cathi was born on August 24, 1961 to Eugene Gerald Pickering and Shirley Ann Thompson Kenney in Arkansas City, KS. As a young girl, the family moved to Oklahoma City with Cathi attending and graduating from Putnam City Schools. After high school, she was set up by her friends on a date with Danny Weaver. They hit it off and were then married, moved to Webb City where they had their three children. Cathi worked for Wal-Mart as an office manager in their distribution warehouse. Her life changed dramatically when she was nearly 45 years old and had a debilitating stroke. Since that time she has been unable to work, but was still able to enjoy her favorite past times which included playing bingo, scrap booking, taking pictures, and playing with her grandchildren. Nothing was more important to Cathi than her beloved family. She cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren more than anything. Selflessly giving of herself to them, Cathi loved every moment they could share with each other.

Survivors include her husband Danny Weaver of Newkirk, children Tiffany Lynne Ramey, Stephanie Ann Weaver, and Dusty Dan Weaver. Grandchildren Tristan Lynne Ramey, Tynlee Addyson Ramey, Tripper Lee Ramey, Kash Kayden Kugel, Camryn Elise Weaver, Avaleigh Reese Weaver, Holland Weaver, Briggs Kole Weaver. Father, Eugene Pickering, Sister Christi Sanders among nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Kenney, brother Dennis Ray Pickering, grandmothers Viola Pickering and Eva Thompson, Grandfathers Eugene Pickering and Floyd Thompson, along with Sister in law Pauline Weaver.
