The Oklahoma Supreme Court heard oral arguments on a legal challenge OKLAHOMA CITY — An initiative petition seeking to raise the minimum wage is unconstitutional and should be tossed out, opponents argued Wednesday. The Oklahoma Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a challenge to State Question 832, which asks voters to gradually increase the state’s minimum wage to $15 per hour in 2029 from the current rate of $7.25.

LOS ANGELES — When all this is over, when Lily Gladstone no longer has to discuss and dissect and get all dressed up to celebrate “Killers of the Flower Moon,” the movie that first came into her life nearly five years ago and has now propelled her into history as the first Native American to earn an Oscar nomination for lead actress, she’s going to head back home to her family in suburban Seattle. Gladstone moved in with her parents a few years ago to help take care of her special-needs uncle and her grandmother, who died last summer after battling dementia.

NEW YORK — “SNL 1975,” a movie about the genesis of “Saturday Night Live,” has rounded out its cast to portray the original stars of the iconic NBC sketch comedy series. Lamorne Morris has been tapped to portray Garrett Morris, while Dylan O’Brien has landed the role of Dan Aykroyd in the Jason Reitman- helmed film.
