The ‘Spousal Bump’ Recently, I’ve received emails from several readers who asked questions about something they call the “spousal bump.” It’s a term I never heard before, and it made me chuckle. It sounds to me like some kind of “dirty dancing” move done by an old married couple in a shady nightclub! I can just see a geezer and his wife thumping their rumps up against each other on a dance floor.

Stephen Hogan, 37, California, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 14th and booked into the Kay County Jail on the charges of Larceny of an Automobile, Kidnapping, Robbery or Attempted Robbery, Uses Firearm While Committing or Attempting to Commit a Felony, A Person Supervised by D.O.C. in Possession at a Residence or in a Passenger Vehicle of Any Pistol, Shotgun or Rifle, Petit Larceny(Firearm), Shooting with Intent To Kill, Eluding Police and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

Kay County Board of Commissioners regular meeting

The Board of County Commissioners regular meeting was held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 instead of Monday January 18, due to court house being closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The meeting started at 9:00 a.m. and all three county commissioners, Kay County Clerk and Secretary, Tammy Reese, and District Attorney, Brian Hermanson were in attendance.

Kay County 4-H Educator, Liz Nicholson receives state award

The Achievement in Service Award was presented to Liz Nicholson. This award is for OAE4-HA members who have at least three years, but no more than seven years of service. As a nine year 4-H member, Nicholson knew that 4-H is where her heart and passions lay. Now in her fourth year as a 4-H educator she has helped develop outstanding school enrichment programming and increased 4-H membership and involvement along the way.
