I hope you are praying for many people who will remember that this coming Sunday is Palm Sunday. Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem was the beginning of the most famous victory in history. His follower’s thought Jesus was dooming himself to death. However, Jesus knew there would be a much better ending. I love to tell the story of Jesus’ love for mankind. On Easter morning, the church will have our traditional sunrise service followed by a fellowship breakfast. When the sunrises in the East, we will remember that many years ago it revealed an empty tomb. Jesus was no longer behind the large stone that closed the borrowed tomb. His faithful friends came to pay their respects in ways that were proper. I wonder what it must have been like to discover that something was so much different than what they expected. From the triumphant entry as a celebrated king the people would soon come to realize that needed to know the King of kings and Lord of lords. Our church family will be praying for families, friends, and neighbors as they find time to remember the price the Jesus would eventually pay for their eternal life. To the many who read these would, please find a place of worship these next two Sunday’s. Find it in your heart to receive the measure of love that Jesus was showing so you will experience life without end in Heaven. In a world so full of darkness, seek the light that will be forevermore with your Savior, Jesus Christ.
