On Wednesday the 24th of May 2023, starting early that morning we will be kicking off a JOINT TRAINING exercise with many first responder agencies from our county. This means that throughout the day you could see many different types of emergency vehicles in the area of Ponca Lake, Frisbee Golf course and the Archery Range. There could be patrol cars, firetrucks, ambulances, watercraft, atv’s and even aircraft or various forms. You might hear police radios, simulated gunfire, or maybe even some diversion devises we use. Please don’t be alarmed. It is only training and it is all planned. Unfortunately, this means that traveling in the area of La Cann / Prentice Rd. and Hartford/Longwood area could prove difficult as we will have many things happening in that area. There will be barricades set up and we ask that you please do not move or go around them.

May 16, 2023 Prowler - At 12:23 am, the reporting party advised his daughter was saying someone was trying to open her window in the area of 341 S. Elm. Unable to locate, and no sign of anyone being near the residence.
