Burbank First Baptist Church News

Body
Burbank, First Baptist may not be well known because of its location. However, it still can make an impact in people’s lives when it is used to seek a personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. After Jesus’s resurrection, Jesus gave his apostles these well-known scriptures in Matthew 28:1820 (KJV), “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Jesus wanted to speak to them personally. I believe he still wants to speak personally with each person today. The message that he wanted to give was that they needed to be teachable. We have a record of his teaching in the Bible today. If we are good stewards of the Word, we will use God’s inspiration to lead and guide us to tell other people about Jesus. Jesus has promised to always be with us as we endeavor to do his will for our lives. Have you accepted his promise? Have you decided to follow Jesus? If so, then I’m sure you have the wonderful privilege of attending the Church of your choice. You never know what your example through church attendance will inspire others to do. The faith in an awesome God that you demonstrate to others will inspire others as they see the peace it brings into your life. My friend is Jesus. Make him your friend also.
