EMMALEE SHIELDS and Ryan Nemec are the Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) September Students of the Month. Shields is a senior at POHI and enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences Academy. Her instructor praises her promptness to class and the positive work environment she creates for other students. Ryan Nemec is with the Automotive Services program and an EPIC student in Ponca City. His instructor celebrates Nemec’s hard working attitude and his above and beyond willingness to help others. The Oxford High School school shooter is eligible to spend the rest of his life in prison, an Oakland County, Michigan, judge ruled Friday. Ethan Crumbley faced either life without parole or a term of years, which must be a minimum of 25 to 40 years and a maximum of 60 years.
