Senate advances bill designed to close loopholes in Oklahoma private school tax credit program

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Senate on Thursday passed a bill to close loopholes in a program that provides tax credits to parents to send students to private schools. Senate Bill 1477, by Senate President Pro Tem Greg Treat, passed by a vote of 38 to 6 and heads to the House.
