Ponca City Church was thankful for the beautiful weather on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25, 2021. It was a very pleasant day for the number of volunteers it takes to provide, prepare, and serve about 1000 free meals to the community. The car line had formed by the parking lot and the meal was put in to-go containers to be handed out to the community.

The meal consisted of traditional Thanksgiving food. Along with the meal served, the Ponca City Church Storehouse Ministry provided a bag with a variety of face masks, antibacterial hand soap, hand sanitizer’s, and a book mark designed by Cindy Grubb. The church provided a card with church information and a Prayer for Thanksgiving message.

The sponsors for the event includes Agape Church, New-Point Church, Lowe’s, Salvation Army, The House FM, Golden Chick, Napoli Restaurant, and many individual contributors.
