Emanuel Smith, a Kay County Drug Court participant and an Oxford House resident, is leading the way with the Share the Warmth Coat Drive here in Ponca City.
“This originally started off as a community service project, it was my idea and it has now turned into a great thing and something even bigger for our area,” said Emanuel Smith.
The Share the Warmth Coat Drive has two separate locations where boxes are set up. This wonderful idea was organized by participants of the Kay County Specialty Courts Programs. They are asking members of our community to donate new and gently used coats, hats and gloves in kids and adult sizes from now until December 5, 2020.
The drop boxes are located at the Oxford House at 401 N. 3rd St. on the porch and at the Stuteville Ford Lincoln Dealership at 2415 N. 14th St. in their lobby. Please Share the Warmth this winter and give back to our community.
