On Saturday, Sept. 26th, Pray For America, a song and prayer worship service, was held from 11-12 p.m. at the corner of Hubbard and Pleasant View Rd. Speakers at the event were Scott Melton of Northeast Baptist Church, Lanny Jobe of Blackwell Church of Christ and Mark Berry of Eastern Heights Christian Church. This was an organized prayer service to ask the Lord for his help during this time of chaos and turmoil going on in our great country. (News photos by Jessica Windom).
