A Back the Blue prayer rally will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Cann Memorial Botanical Gardens in support of law enforcement officials.

After the service, all in attendance will then march to City Hall and rally around the men and women who wear the law enforcement badges.

According to an organizer of this event, Dennis Winze, those attending are encouraged to bring flags, signs, prayers, love and support for the men and women who represent the area and community for law enforcement officials who risk their lives daily to keep us safe.

Some local businesses, who are selling Back the Blue gear that is encouraged to bring to the event, can be found and purchased at Kings Kuts Barbershop located at 216 West Grand Avenue in downtown Ponca City.

Hats can be purchased at this location or interested parties may call them at 749- 5883 to check for availability.

Village Screen Print, located at 316 E. Grand Ave., are making T-shirts and will be selling them downtown on Saturday on the day of the prayer rally as well and may be contacted at 765-1972.

Legacy Signs are making signs for people to purchase in support of our law enforcement officials and they are located at 2208 W. South Avenue and can be contacted at 765-1972.
