PowerHouse of Faith Christian Center, which is located at 114 N. Oak St. in Ponca City, is currently holding a coat drive and donations are being accepted at anytime throughout the year.

Cynthia Lawson, the Department Head, said that items such as coats, hats, gloves, clothes and even toys will be accepted at anytime. Bishop Johnny Thompson and Pastor Gail Thompson, with the assistance of Cynthia Lawson, have organized this coat drive to help those in need in the community. Lawson is the person to contact with any and all donations.

Please call Cynthia Lawson at 580-761-5411 and she will gladly set up a time to meet with those who are interested in donating to this wonderful cause during this trying time and cold weather.

The dates for pickup of items for those who are in need of coats and/or clothing etc. has been set for Saturday, Jan. 30th from 10-12 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 27th from 10-12 p.m.

“Our coat giveaways will always be on Saturdays and these are the dates that have already been set up,” said Lawson, Coat Drive Department Head.
