Door Knocking — At 12:24 a.m. Tuesday a subject in the 1600 block of Holbrook reported someone was knocking on his door but he couldn’t see anyone. An officer responded and advised the house checked secure.

Disturbance — A subject at Third Street and Hazel contacted police at 1:08 a.m. Tuesday to report hearing possible gun shots or fireworks in the area. An officer could not locate a disturbance.

Theft — At 3 a.m. Tuesday a subject in the 400 block of South Fifth Street advised her wallet was stolen out of her vehicle. An officer was assigned and a report was taken.

Fraud — At 7:29 a.m. Tuesday a subject in the 600 block of West South Avenue contacted police to report unemployment fraud. An officer was assigned and a report was taken.

Vandalism — Vandalism was reported at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday on Standing Bear Drive. An officer was dispatched and a report was taken

Fraud — At 11:04 a.m. Tuesday a subject in the 1000 block of North First Street reported social security fraud. An officer was assigned and a report was taken.

Fraud — An unemployment fraud report was taken at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday from the 700 block of 20 Road.

Harassment — A subject contacted the police department at 1:33 p.m. Tuesday to report harassment over the phone. An officer was assigned and a report was taken.

Child Abuse — An officer requested a case number for possible child abuse in the 900 block of South Eighth Street at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday

Disturbance — A subject in the 200 block of West Hartford Avenue contacted police at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday to report two female were causing a disturbance. An officer responded and advised the matter was verbal only.

Fraud — More unemployment fraud reports were taken at 2:27 p.m. Tuesday on Elmwood Avenue and on Parkview.

Fight — At 2:51 p.m. Tuesday a subject in the 700 block of South Fifth Street reported a fight in progress between two females, one an adult and the other a juvenile. An officer will be doing further investigating.

Burglary — At 4:34 p.m. Tuesday a subject in the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue reported a burglary. An officer responded and a report was taken.

Arrest — Jay Alexander Combs was arrested at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday from the 400 block of North Ash on outstanding warrants.

Arrest — A bail company advised a male subject has confirmed warrants and was at an address in the 400 block of South Elm. Officers responded at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday and arrested Sean Kendall Byrd.

Ambulance Call — An ambulance call was made at 6:06 p.m. Tuesday in the 9400 block of Lake Road after a boat sank in water off Coon Creek Cove. No subjects were transported.

Theft — A 911 call at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday reported the theft of headphones in the 800 block of North Oak. An officer advised the subject not to call 911 over a civil matter.

Vandalism — At 9:31 p.m. Tuesday a subject in the 200 block of East Brookfield reported his neighbor kept knocking his motorcycle over on purpose. An officer responded and a report was taken.
