Burglary— A caller advised Dispatch of an attempted break-in to Family Discount Pharmacy on the 300 block of Fairview Avenue on Monday at 3:55 a.m. An officer responded and was advised that two male subjects had left on foot in an unknown direction. Extra patrol was requested and granted. A report was taken.

Stolen Vehicle— A Manager requested an officer for two stolen U-Haul trucks and a 2017 Ford moving van from Moyer Car Center on the 2000 block of north Waverly Avenue on Monday at 7:33 a.m. An officer responded and an ATL was sent to Ponca City Police Department and the Kay County Sheriff’s Department. A report was taken.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle— A caller advised Dispatch on Monday at 9:32 a.m. that there was a male subject trying to get into vehicles on the 400 block of south Perry street. An officer responded and Matthew Rice was arrested for Domestic Assault & Battery and he was transported to jail. A report was made.

Theft— An officer responded to a call from PCA Church on the 2000 block of east Prospect Avenue on Monday at 10:51 a.m. in reference to the theft of cash from a lock box at the church. A report was taken.

Theft— A caller advised that his antique brown bicycle with a basket was stolen right in front of him at the Valero Convenience Store on the 300 block of west Grand avenue on Monday at 4:57 p.m. An officer responded and a report was taken.

Stolen Vehicle— An officer responded to the Timbers Apartments on the 2200 block of north 14th street on Tuesday at 7:57 a.m. in regards to a stolen 1999 black Ford Expedition with tinted windows. The vehicle was entered into NCIC and a report was taken.

Theft— A caller requested an officer to the 2000 block of north 4th street on Tuesday at 8:08 a.m. in reference to the caller’s vehicle being broken into the Friday before and she had just noticed that her daughter’s backpack was missing with her chrome book inside of it. A report was taken.

Domestic— An officer responded to the 700 block of north Birch street on Tuesday at 4:43 p.m. in reference to a female subject reporting that her boyfriend, James Morton, had hit her earlier in the day. A report was taken and a warrant request was made for the male subject.

Arrest— An officer ran the names of two individuals at the intersection of Ash and Cleveland on Tuesday at 8:08 p.m. Geana Rush was arrested for Kay County warrants and a warrant request was taken for Benjamin Waters. The female subject was transported to jail and a report was taken.

Traffic Stop/Arrest— An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Ash and Oklahoma on Tuesday at 9:17 p.m. and the driver, Tommy Jones, was arrested for a Kay County warrant and was transported to jail. The passenger in the vehicle was released and a report was made.
