Disturbance— A caller requested an officer on Thursday at 12:20 a.m. to the 700 block of north Birch street in regards to a male subject who was banging on the door and yelling for about an hour. An officer responded and was unable to make contact with the subject. Extra patrol was requested and a report was taken for vandalism.

DUI Arrest— An officer conducted a traffic stop on Thursday at 7:21 a.m. at the intersection of 4th and Grand by pulling over a dark blue Hyundai with a paper tag. Tewa Martinez was arrested for DUI and was transported to jail. A report was taken.

Hit and Run Accident— An officer responded to City Central on Thursday at 12:51 p.m. in reference to a hit and run accident involving a black Dodge Journey. The vehicle was cited and a report was taken.

Animal Call— An officer was requested to Washington School on Thursday at 6:48 p.m. in regards to a grey and white pitbull that had bit his son on the foot. An officer responded and the incident occurred on the playground. The victim’s father refused an ambulance and did file a report. Animal Control took the dog.

Meat Burglary— An officer responded to the Meadowbrook Village Trailer Court on Thursday at 7:29 p.m. in reference to their entire meat supply being taken out of the house. The caller said they were unsure of who it was and there was no sign of forced entry. A report was taken.
