Ponca City Public Schools experienced a surge of inschool positive cases for COVID-19, and the high school has already pivoted to distance learning last week on Nov. 11.

PCPS has provided a link for a survey that parents can take for the option to have their student move to distance learning for the remainder of the semester until Dec. 18, 2020.

The deadline to complete the survey is Nov. 18, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., Ponca City High School will remain distance learning until Monday Nov. 30, 2020.

The survey can be found at www.pcps.us, the Ponca City Schools Facebook page, or the PCPS mobile app. PCPS encourages wear

PCPS encourages wearing a face covering, observe social distancing, and washing hands frequently throughout the day so there is a better chance of keeping students in school on all sites.

Additionally, students or staff experiencing symptoms such as a fever of 100 degrees or more, a cough or shortness of breath, or a lack of taste or smell should get a COVID-19 test and do not come to school while waiting for results.
