An injury accient was reported on Saturday, March 21 at 2:06 p.m. on Interstate 35 northbound at mile marker 228.5, approximately 1.3 miles southwest of Braman in Kay County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, John Walker, 72, Russelville, Ark. was traveling northbound on I-35 when he departed the roadway to the left, hit a guardrail and a cable barrier before rolling one time over the guardrail. He was transported by AirEvac to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan. and listed in fair condition with internal trunk injuries.

The OHP lists the cause of the accident as a medical incident.
